Rajat Jain has been the Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company in India since August 2004. A visionary in Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Operations, Project, Sales and Brand Management, Rajat believes that leadership is all about steering your business incessantly, in a relentless and unforgiving environment, towards your defined targets and goals. With the launch of Toon Disney and Disney Channel in December 2004, he aims to provide the Indian audiences with the Disney hallmark, cutting edge, high quality entertainment that suits their tastes and cultural sensibilities.

Besides being responsible for Disney's Television business in India which is the major driver for the overall Disney business, Rajat is also responsible for overseeing all other businesses of The Walt Disney Company in India. This includes identifying and exploring growth opportunities towards expanding the scope of business and operations of the Company in India.

Prior to his association with Disney, Rajat, a Postgraduate in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, held the position of Executive Vice President and Business Head for MAX at Sony Entertainment Television, India.
