Neeraj
Bharadwaj is a partner at Apax Partners and a member of the Tech &
Telecom Group. He has been instrumental in guiding the firms
investment strategies in the wireless and mobile data, security, and
infrastructure software areas. Past investments and companies he has
been involved with include JAMDAT Mobile, Inc., WiderThan Co., Ltd.,
Mesh Networks, Inc. (acquired by Motorola), Wynd (acquired by GoAmerica),
UPOC Networks, and Preventsys, Inc. He is a charter member of The
Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and serves on the boards of the Wireless
Communications Alliance and the Friends of the Indian School of Business.
Prior to joining Apax Partners in 1999, Neeraj was an engagement manager
at McKinsey & Company, where he consulted with telecommunications
and enterprise software clients on a variety of strategic, operational,
and organizational issues. He also held positions with Goldman Sachs
& Co. and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co.
Neeraj holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
He graduated summa cum laude with a BS in economics from the Wharton
School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a Ben Franklin
Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and received the Zweig Fellowship
for financial research.
