Keshav Prasad is the Managing Director of Applied Materials in India and the General Manager of Applied Materials Global Development Capability (GDC). Applied Materials Global Development Centers are located in Bangalore, Xian, and St. Petersburg with competencies in Product Development, Engineering Services, Software, and Information Technology. Keshav was instrumental in developing the concept of Global Development Capability at Applied Materials and setup the India Operations. Over the last 12 years at Applied Materials Dr. Prasad has served in multiple executive management positions in Semiconductor Technology and Product Development, Global Operations, Information Technology, and Business Transformation. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Dr. Prasad was a scientist at IBM's Advanced Packaging Technology Development Center in New York. Dr. Prasad earned both his master's and doctorate degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and has attended the Stanford Executive Management Program. Keshav is an active supporter of the American India Foundation Digital Divide Program.
