Welcome to the 14th Annual Wharton Africa Business Forum.

The Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF) is an integral component of the Wharton Global Business Forum, the pre-eminent business school event addressing the major economic, social and political trends affecting Africa, Asia, Europe, India and Latin America. Over 1,300 participants from around the world converge at Wharton every year to drive discussions on business issues and developments around the globe.

In its 14th  year, WABF is expected to bring together three hundred business leaders, investors, academics, and students with a keen interest in Africa. The theme of the 2006 edition is:

“Africa: Building New Partnerships, Impacting the Global Economy”

This year’s forum will bring to the fore the benefits of the new partnerships established by African corporations and governments, and will explore ways for African countries, markets, and corporations to grow stronger.

We would like to thank our corporate sponsors and partners for making the 14th edition possible.

We invite you all to join us on November 11 to witness, contribute and learn from great minds about the business opportunities that Africa possesses.

Sincerely,

WABF 2006 Executive Committee
