Mr. Sanjay Puri

Sanjay Puri is the President and CEO of Optimos http://www.optimos.com , Inc., a mid-sized IT services company with headquarters in Chantilly , Virginia .

Mr. Puri is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Washington, DC and is a recognized authority on information technology, e-government and technology education. He was presented the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council's (VMSDC) Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2004. In 2005, Mr. Puri has been nominated by Accenture with the Small Contractor, Executive of the Year Award.

In addition, Mr. Puri is an active leader in the Indian American community. He is the Founder and Chairman of US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC), the single largest bi-partisan advocacy organization representing the Indian American Community on Capitol Hill and White House with over 40,000 members across the US . The mission of USINPAC is to impact government policy on issues of concern to the Indian American community in the United States . USINPAC supports candidates for federal, state and local office who support issues that are important to the Indian American community. Mr. Puri also serves as the President & CEO of the US India Business Alliance (USIBA), an organization with the mission to promote investment and trade between the US and India .

Prior to Optimos, Mr. Puri served as the CEO of Atlantic Microsystems, Inc. a health care services company. He has an MBA/CPA and has completed his Ph.D. course work from the George Washington University .
