On behalf of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, it is
our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2004 Wharton Latin American
Conference.
The Organizing Committee has chosen Towards Growth and Development as this year’s theme. This choice reflects our belief in the opportunities to advance the economic, social, and political well-being of the region and its people. We do not deny that challenges exist to achieve such potential, but are confident that such growth and development is attainable.
The Latin American Conference has a rich tradition at the Wharton School. For the past fourteen years, participants have benefited from this forum’s thought leadership to discuss the most pressing issues affecting Latin America. Speakers and panelists have shared their views and experience with students, faculty, alumni, and professionals. As one of the premier business school conferences on the region, the Wharton Latin American Conference has always remained at the forefront of the events transforming Latin America.
This year is no different. Our panels this year will address a broad variety of relevant topics. From the challenges of entering the U.S. market, investments in the region, to the growing political and economic power of the U.S. Latino population, the topics are sure to enlighten even the most knowledgeable of participants.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school and would greatly appreciate your attendance at this capstone event.
