Dr. Hyacinth Nwana,
CTO, Quadriga

Dr. Hyacinth Nwana joined Quadriga after the trade sale of Antfactory, a ₤500M global investment firm, where he was Executive Director and Global CTO. Prior to Antfactory, he was senior manager of the Future technologies Group at British Telecom Labs, now BTexact. Previously, he was a Royal Society’s visiting professor at the University of Calgary, Canada, and a lecturer in Computer Science at the universities of Liverpool and Keele.

Dr. Nwana has both worked and consulted for several businesses in the Internet, Telco and Media industries and has won multiple awards for innovation including the DEC European Artificial Intelligence Prize in 1991, the top British Computer Society award for IT innovation in 1997, and top BT technical award in 1998. He has written on numerous occasions for academic and high profile journals, has authored three books and is a named inventor on four patents.

In addition to his BSc (Hons) and MSc (distinction), Dr. Nwana holds an MBA with distinction from the London Business School, a PhD from Aston University, Birmingham and an MA from Queens College, Cambridge.
