Kalpathi
S. Suresh co-founded SSI in 1991 and has been instrumental in
growing the organization from an IT training provider in Chennai
to a global provider of consulting, and software services. Much
of this growth has come from seizing opportunities to acquire,
amalgamate, and grow businesses and companies that are in
synergy with SSI’s aspirations. Suresh is a member of the
Chennai Chapter of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, and
the Young Presidents Organization, and was a finalist at the
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in India in
1999. Suresh has a bachelor’s degree in electronics and
computer engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology,
Madras, and a master’s from Clemson University, South
Carolina. He has previously worked with Siemens and HCL in
India, and with Sybase (through HCL) in USA. Suresh is a fitness
enthusiast and marathon runner.
