Ramalinga Raju (Raju) is the Chairman of Satyam Computer
Services Limited (NYSE: SAY). He incorporated Satyam Computer
Services Limited in 1987, which went public in 1992. Today, over
10,000 Satyam Associates work in 45 countries. Raju was honored
by CNBC Asia Pacific and TNT Asia with the "Asia Business
Leader Award 2002 (ABLA) for Corporate Citizen of the Year"
in October 2002. Dataquest, a major IT magazine, pronounced him
as the "IT Man of the Year" in 2001 and Ernst
&Young chose him for the "Entrepreneur of the Year
Award (Services)" in 2000. Raju holds an MBA from Ohio
University, USA, and has attended the Owner/President course at
Harvard. He is an avid reader and snooker player. Raju is
married with two grown-up sons.
