This panel draws upon the experiences of some of India's most admired corporate leaders, to foster a lively discussion about their experiences while expanding in the post economic reform era. Emergence of a New Global Player

This eighth anniversary year of WEIF marks the inaugural Healthcare Panel. The theme of the panel is "Emergence a New Global Player." The expansion of the Indian healthcare sector has been driven by the rapid growth of life sciences companies, and is on track to transform the country into a new global player. This panel of industry leaders from India and USA, explores the opportunities that India offers to multinational firms as well as opportunities for Indian companies to leverage India's resources to succeed globally. The topics discussed will include India's strengths in contract research and manufacturing, revolutionary biotechnology R&D, export of generic drugs, as well as the potential impact of introduction of new patent laws in India.
