The Wharton Asian Business Conference 2001, "InnovAsia: Reinventing Asia for the New Millennium," outlined a positive outlook for Asia's growing economies. The conference continued its rapid rate of growth by drawing over 400 participants from the Wharton student body as well as professionals from the US Northeast business community.

It was a day filled with impressive discussion panels on various topics concerning business in Asia, including financial market, China's entry into the WTO and private equity. The highlight of the day included an opening keynote speech by Mr. Cezar P Consing, Co-Head of Investment Banking at J. P. Morgan Securities Asia and a lunch keynote by NTT Docomo CEO Dr. Keiji Tachikawa.
