Anniversary of the Wharton African Business Forum
November 15, 2003
The
aim of the 2003 Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF) was to
stimulate discussion on economic growth in Africa. Panel discussions,
industry speaks and workships all centering around the conference
theme: Re-inventing business in Africa: from entrepreneurship
to corporations, focused on supporting proactive initiatives
that enhance the economic development of emerging markets
in Africa. The Business Plan Competition-the only Africa-focused
business competition at any US business school, built on the
success of the 2002 version, attracting even more high quality
business plans focussing on activities on the African continent.
