Ms. Potter serves
as Vice President of AIG Global Investment Corporation
and is Portfolio Manager for AIG's private equity fund
for Africa, the AIG African Infrastructure Fund, L.L.C. Ms.
Potter regularly travels with her team to both Sub-Saharan
and North Africa, seeking large scale ($7 to $40 million)
investments in the telecommunications, transportation,
natural resources, and agro-business sectors. Ms.
Potter helped establish the Africa Fund and 2 other large
scale private equity funds for AIG. Earlier,
Ms. Potter invested for AIGGIC in global telecommunications
companies and serves as AIG's director on several corporate
boards. Previously, she was a Vice President handling
telecommunications project finance in emerging markets
at Chase Securities Inc. (Chemical Securities, Inc.) Prior
to that, she managed East Asian and South East Asian corporate
and corresponding banking, and served in Manufacturers
Hanover Trust's problem loan department. Ms. Potter
holds a BA in Government from St. Lawrence University,
and a Masters in International Affairs, focusing on East
Asia and Japan, from Columbia University.
