Welcome!

Long recognized for its strong international focus, the Wharton Business School student body recognized that regional discussions could not effectively tackle the most pressing issues affecting the world without an integrated global forum as a backdrop. Local thought leadership required a global stage. This was the genesis of the Wharton Global Business Forum.

The Wharton Global Business Forum is the pre-eminent business school event addressing the major economic, social, and political trends affecting the major regions of the world. Over the past several years, the Wharton Global Business Forum has been the umbrella organization for regional conferences covering areas as diverse as Africa, Asia, the Council of Independent States, Europe, India, Latin America and West Asia. Under the auspices of the Wharton School, this unique student-led event addressess the globalization of various regions' economies while remaining focused on domestic trends and concerns. This year, on the first and second weekends of November 2007, top caliber speakers, panelists, and guests from around the world will converge on the city of Philadelphia to focus on issues particular to Africa, Asia and India.

We invite you to attend this unique event.
